The Bernstein group at the Friedrich Schiller University (FSU) Jena incorporates four research units including the following responsible group members:

Jens Haueisen (professor and chair of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Informatics of the TU Ilmenau as well as head of the Biomagnetic Centre - BMC - of the FSU)

Wolfgang Miltner (professor and chair of the Department of Biological and Clinical Psychology – BCP- of the FSU)

Jürgen Reichenbach (professor and head of the Medical Physics Group - MPG - at the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology of the FSU)

Herbert Witte (professor and chair of the Institute of Medical Statistics, Computer Sciences and Documentation - IMSID - of the FSU)

It was decided to include new colleagues to complete the staffing of the BG, whose support and participation have added substantial value to the scientific and infrastructural development of Computational Neuroscience in Jena.
The new partners are Profs. Siegrid Löwel, O. Witte, C. Gaser, K.-J. Bär.
